Beth was introduced to the Pilates Method in 2006, and it was "green light after green light" discovering the benefits and beauty of the method. Her early years were immersed with a love of dance, studying at Loretta Heights College in Denver, Colorado, and continuing with the Denver Civic Ballet. After a long hiatus from the world of dance, Pilates provided a gateway to a “return to life” for Beth. Transformed by the power of the method and her direct experience with Joseph Pilates’ philosophy that “movement heals,” she became inspired to teach and empower others. Beth studied under Master Teacher, Bob Liekens, who co-created the training manual and exam system with Romana Kryzanowska, a direct student of Joseph Pilates. After completing her training and 600 apprenticeship hours, she received her Comprehensive Pilates Certification through Power Pilates NYC in 2007. Beth continues her education and exploration of health and wellbeing. In 2010, she received The Pink Ribbon Program’s Certification as a Post Rehabilitation Breast Cancer Exercise Specialist. She is active in The Prem Rawat Foundation’s humanitarian initiatives, and has been practicing meditation as taught by Prem Rawat for over 35 years.
