Jennifer began studying yoga in 2001 after a severe back injury threatened what she hoped would be a great career in dance. While she hasn’t returned to dance professionally, her practice of yoga has now led to her receiving her RYT-200 certification to teach yoga and has returned to dance as well. Jennifer feels that the strength that she has gained, the calmness she can attain and the grounding she has achieved can be directly attributed to the renewed strength and connection to her breath that yoga has taught her. Jennifer’s primary goal is to help others heal injuries through yoga as she has, and help them build muscle and strength on the outside of the body as well as the inside.
